Hello everyone and welcome to Digital Revolver, this is Jesse and today I will be your instructor for MPLS course.
Let me tell you an overview of this course. Well, service providers faced many challenges in terms of customer demand and started realizing that not only must they be concerned with protecting their existing infrastructure, but they must also find ways to generate new or value -added services to meet the ongoing demand of customers, that are not currently supportable using existing technologies.
Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) is a high-performance method for forwarding packets through a network enabling routers at the edge of a network to apply simple labels to packets. This practice allows the edge devices to switch packets according to labels and with minimal lookup overhead
The Implementing Cisco MPLS course helps individuals build skills for MPLS and MPLS Traffic Engineering design, implementation, configuration and troubleshooting enabling network performance, scalability, and services. You learn how MPLS when used in conjunction with other standard technologies gives the ability to support value added features and service offerings, as it integrates the performance and traffic-management capabilities of data link layer 2 with the scalability and flexibility of network layer 3 routing.
This course covers overview of MPLS and deployment of MPLS on VPN that include models, diversity, implementation, flexibility and troubleshooting of MPLS VPNs. So, by the end of this course you should be able to design, implement and maintain core IP routing network infrastructures.
Implementing Cisco MPLS is a recommended training for individuals seeking CCNP Service Provider certification. This course focuses on MPLS technology issues, as those issues apply to service providers and on how to configure new features and functions in an existing routed environment.
Hope you enjoy the course, Thank you!!!
