After completing this course the student should be able to:
- Describe the structure used to define Quality of Service
- Describe the tools used within Cisco IOS used to deploy and manage Quality of Service in complex networks to control and predictably service a variety of networked applications and traffic types, managing bandwidth, delay, jitter, and packet loss.
- Define the Cisco ?QoS Baseline"
- Identify and manage the QoS factors that directly affect Voice traffic, both for Call (bearer traffic) and Call Signaling.
- Provision QoS for Interactive-Video (i.e., video conferencing) and for Streaming Video.
- Provision QoS for data traffic: Locally-defined Mission-Critical, Transactional/Interactive, Bulk, Best-Effort, Scavenger, Routing / Network Management.
- Define MPLS VPN services for full-mesh connectivity.
- Define the Three-Class, Four-Class and Five-Class QoS models with traffic priorities and classifications
- Define the concepts and features of SP SLA Requirements for applications within different traffic models.
- Define typical QoS configurations for Frame-Relay access.
